Friday 3rd October 2025 to Sunday afternoon 5th October: Strathean Residential Weekend

Every year REMU arranges a weekend workshop at Strathean Retreat Centre a large house near Te Horo. Participants take part in workshops over the weekend. Strathean is located in park-like grounds, so there is always the option of time out and relaxation. Non-players such as partners are also welcome.

This year the Committee is pleased to announce that the lead tutor will again be Simon Borutzki, the conductor of Berliner Blockflöeten Orchester. The BBO web page is unfortunately in German. Simon is a well-known conductor and performer. You will find several videos on YouTube, including a number of Van Eyck renditions.

Simon was the popular leader of Strathean 2024 and as he will be in Australia in October, we have asked him to again be the lead tutor for Strathean 2025.

The registration form plus further details about the event, venue, accomodation options and food arrangements will be on this website closer to the event time. Som preliminary details can be found here Strathean Residential Weekends
