Like all previous years, Strathean 2018 was a great success. The weekend was tutored by
Bernard Wells and Katrin Eickhorst.
We were fortunate this year to have a number of instruments other than standard recorders.
There were two harpsichords on site, plus Bob's bassoon. In the recorder line there were three
great bass and two contrabass recorders.
There was also a display of recorders for purchase from
Wooden Recorders. At least one person went
home happy with a new instrument but with a lighter wallet.
Many thanks to our photographer Marie Eales.
Bernard and Katrin kept us busy.

The Saurday night quiz
Strathean would not be complete without Keith Riach's quiz on Saturday night.
